'Asian Cruis-ine' is a pun, amalgamating 'cuisine' with 'cruise' to symbolise cruising around Asia for a delicacy expedition. The first series of miniature handmade felt sculptures of Asian cuisine - fried rice, steamed bun, iced gem biscuits - transformed into seamless pattern design. Bibimbap is a Korean dish consisting of rice topped with sautéed vegetables, chili paste, and beef or other meat, sometimes with the addition of a raw or fried egg, served in a black bowl. Curry Puff is a piece of golden yellow fried pastry filled with curry paste and potato. Fried Rice - fried rice served on a pink plate. Fortune cookie refers to a beige folded sweet thin and crispy cookie. Iced Gem Biscuit is a small biscuit with pink royal icing. Ice Kacang refers to shaved ice with sugar syrup, topped with red beans and sweet corns, served in a light blue bowl. Mooncake slice - a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is typically baked with an elaborate stamp on the top depicting elements iconic to the festival including peonies, butterflies, and auspicious Chinese characters. With a brown crust layer, the mooncake is filled with lotus seed paste and a salted duck egg yolk center to represent the moon. Kueh Lapis is an Indonesian rainbow-layered rice cake. Kaya toast refers to a piece of toasted bread with green kaya spread and a piece of butter. Steamed Bun is a yeast-leavened filled white bun in various Chinese cuisines.
